This three-hour tour is a great introduction the cultural side of Carnarvon. The walking tour takes visitors on a leisurely walk through the heritage area, along the way learning Indigenous culture as well as Carnarvon local history.

Visit an area abundant (seasonal) in traditional bushfoods, medicine plants and wildlife. Hear stories of the traditional Yinggarda life, their spiritual connection to Country and culture and the impacts of colonisation. Learn how natural events were important seasonal indicators that the Yinggarda people lived by.

At certain times of the year the bush here is ablaze with colourful and delicate wildflowers and in early spring, hidden claypans erupt with the frenzied mating season of the Burrowing Bee.
